Danielle Bruncati is a comedy writer and dog mom…she’ll let you decide which is more important.

Born and raised in Southern California, Danielle grew up with Hollywood in her backyard — but not really because of LA traffic. The writing bug bit her in her teenage years and she hasn’t looked back since. Like many Millennial/Gen-Z Cusp writers, she began her writing journey in the world of fan fiction. Something she still enjoys writing and reading to this day.

A first-generation college student, Danielle graduated with a double BA in Cinema and Television Arts and American Studies from California State University, Fullerton. After graduating she spent some time as a script analyst for screenplay contests and production companies, while also spending way too much time roaming around Disneyland. Wanting to hone her craft, Danielle went back to school and earned her MFA in Television Writing and Producing from Chapman University in May 2022.

Danielle writes half-hour pilots and female-driven features about high school theater kids, dysfunctionally loving Latinx families, and Mrs. Claus impersonators who desperately want to be Santa Claus. Basically, she writes about her past and manifests her future.

She enjoys reading young adult and contemporary romance novels, watching things that make her laugh (usually sitcoms but also TikTok videos), getting her money out of her Disneyland Magic Key, spending time with her laughter-hating corgi, and Christmas.
